    • Day activities include:
      • Re-enactment of the Prince William militia’s destruction of the Liberty Pole erected by Occoquan’s Abraham Lincoln supporters in July of 1860.
      • Civil War-era mourning and medical display in Town Hall
      • Civil War-era music at Mamie Davis Park
      • Two historical lectures at Rockledge on the Liberty Pole incident
      • Book signings at several shops by authors who have written about Civil War or Occoquan-related events
      • Free boat tours discuss
  • The Story Tellers are hosting two local authors who have written children's books about the Civil War.
