The Loft Gallery is hosting "CONNtexture: Works in Watercolor and Collage by Deborah Conn" May 8th - June 3rd

Deborah Conn adds texture and depth to her figurative paintings using hand colored and marbled papers. The use of collage represents a departure from her more traditional watercolor portraits and figures. "Collage has freed me somewhat from my source material," she says, "allowing me to introduce less-literal and more dramatic elements into my work."

Deborah shows her work at The Loft Gallery, May 8 (Tuesday) - June 3 (Sunday).

The Loft Gallery is located at 313 Mill Street, upstairs, in Historic Occoquan.
